From headshots and weddings to close-up product photography, my role encompasses every stage of the retouching process—from raw file evaluation to final export—without the use of AI or automated tools. My goal is to enhance each image while preserving its authenticity and integrity.

In every retouching project, I serve as the sole creative lead, managing end-to-end image enhancement with a strong focus on:

• Assessing and correcting lighting, exposure, and color balance

• Executing subtle and natural skin retouching without blurring or over-editing

• Removing distractions and perfecting compositions in a non-destructive, layer-based workflow

• Communicating with clients to understand the intended tone and purpose of the images

My work is done entirely in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom using manual tools such as healing brushes, clone stamp, dodging and burning, masking, and adjustment layers. Although I have experience working with AI tools (and often find them helpful), the following examples do not use any AI-powered software or automated retouching filters to display my abilities transparently and accurately.

For editorial, branding, and commercial beauty content, I apply detailed, high-end editing techniques that enhance the subject while preserving natural texture and expression.

Product Retouching for eCommerce

For product-focused content, I prioritize clarity, accuracy, and consistency across large image sets.

This includes:

• Color correction and lighting consistency

• Dust, scuff, and reflection removal

• Edge refinement and cleanup

• Maintaining shape integrity across multiple angles

The project featured below involved retouching hundreds of shoe product photos, including both supplied images and reshot materials. Every product had to appear clean and uniform on the eCommerce site where users could zoom in at high resolution so attention to detail was critical. The comparisons below show the original, retouched, and reshot-retouched versions, emphasizing the level of polish achieved across the collection.

I specialize in retouching professional portraits, editorial-style images, and team headshots.

My work involves:

Original/After sets demonstrate how subtle refinements can elevate a photo’s professionalism while preserving its character. In the example below, the client requested a hair color adjustment to better reflect their current medium-dark brown shade. The edit focused on achieving a natural look while ensuring the rest of the image remained untouched and true to the original.

Weddings & Lifestyle Moments

Weddings are emotional, high-pressure days. I focus on making every shot feel timeless and refined.

For couples and families, I:

• Adjust lighting and contrast to highlight mood

• Remove distracting elements in the background

• Subtly enhance colors to match the tone of the event

• Maintain natural skin textures and warmth

Every image is handled with thoughtful precision to ensure the emotion and magic of the moment remain the focal point. In the selected examples below, the couple requested the removal of healing scars and distracting background elements, making edits delicately to preserve the authenticity of their special day.
